Getting Started

  • Starting is really easy ... you do not need to be fit or know anything about CrossFit.

Step 1 is to click on "Want to Start", or give us a call or drop us an email to let us know that you are interested,

Step 2 is once you have registered we will call you and discuss a time to book you in for your first Intro session.

Step 3 is to complete your intro sessions and then join the group sessions when you are ready.

If you are new to CrossFit, we will take it easy at the beginning and hold back the intensity until you get used to the training. Our experienced coaches will adapt the program to your individual circumstance, taking into account any injuries and your current level of conditioning.

All you need is a positive attitude. There are no excuses, get started today!

Fitness in 100 words

  • “Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar. Keep intake to levels that will support exercise but not body fat. Practice and train major lifts: Deadlift, clean, squat, presses, c&j, and snatch. Similarly, master the basics of gymnastics: pull-ups, dips, rope climb, push-ups, sit-ups, presses to handstand, pirouettes, flips, splits, and holds. Bike, run, swim, row, etc, hard and fast. Five or six days per week mix these elements in as many combinations and patterns as creativity will allow. Routine is the enemy. Keep workouts short and intense. Regularly learn and play new sports. ”

Good work Lisa :)

I was smashed - and was the only person sitting on the train on this cold morning sweating with my veins hanging out in my forearms - a seat soon
appeared for this suspected swine flu case :)

Lisa

Thanks Miles :)

However this WOD was a bit cruel really, cause according to my spreasheet I was ready to attempt the rxd on all these lifts - yeah! Then I see the AMRAP in 20 mins - boo! My metcon still really sucks - I wanna go faster now!

Francis

I've been so slack the past week, resolved to come to the 5am session this morning but piked out because it was too cold. If I don't make it to the 6pm session tonight I'm adding 50 burpees to my muscle-up challenge as punishment for being soft. See you guys tonight!

I would love to claim 35kg for that workout, but unfortunately I only did 25kg.

I've got my fitness assessment (beep test) for the firemen on Saturday and as I love to over prepare, I'm not going to be in much this week as I'll be doing a lot of practice runs this week.

Train hard and I'll let you all know how I go on Saturday.
