Fitness in 100 words

  • “Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar. Keep intake to levels that will support exercise but not body fat. Practice and train major lifts: Deadlift, clean, squat, presses, c&j, and snatch. Similarly, master the basics of gymnastics: pull-ups, dips, rope climb, push-ups, sit-ups, presses to handstand, pirouettes, flips, splits, and holds. Bike, run, swim, row, etc, hard and fast. Five or six days per week mix these elements in as many combinations and patterns as creativity will allow. Routine is the enemy. Keep workouts short and intense. Regularly learn and play new sports. ”

BAwwawawhwhahawhahah - that was heeelarious Miles. had tears streaming down my face.

Baby John

Nice one Miles, 7min is a huge PB!!! You looked like you had given it your all when I saw you cross the line.

How did everybody else go in the B2B?

I ran the 10k in around 50min (asked two different people the time as I went over both lines).

Hopefully get to Coastal Crossfit this week for a few sessions if work permits. Missing CFB in a big way (working up the Sunny Coast for 10 weeks). I even went to a globo gym once last week and walked out after 30min as I had no idea what to do (ended up on the treadmill), not to mention the place was full of loud tools with horrible form.

Miles

Thanks guys - also thanks John for cheering me on the line - one day i hope to do in 50min like you !

I was REALLY stuffed at the end and not feeling that great :) I nearly fainted when i got up from the chair after taking my timing chip off !

But after a good drink of water and a rest i felt fine and was feeling great for the rest of the day.

Miles yup that is the funniest thing I have seen in a while, the look on the guys face is priceless.

Top effort Jesse you were so close to Doug's time.

Kelsey good work on chipping away and working through the obvious pain and discomfort you were feeling and Fletch you powered through your last set awesome stuff.

And I did finally my first WOD with box jumps in stead of step ups... next phase is rxd box jumps and double unders.

Sharif

I'm still laughing at the video... absolute gold!
