CrossFit Brisbane

Getting Started

  • Starting is really easy ... you do not need to be fit or know anything about CrossFit.

Step 1 is to click on "Want to Start", or give us a call or drop us an email to let us know that you are interested,

Step 2 is once you have registered we will call you and discuss a time to book you in for your first Intro session.

Step 3 is to complete your intro sessions and then join the group sessions when you are ready.

If you are new to CrossFit, we will take it easy at the beginning and hold back the intensity until you get used to the training. Our experienced coaches will adapt the program to your individual circumstance, taking into account any injuries and your current level of conditioning.

All you need is a positive attitude. There are no excuses, get started today!

Fitness in 100 words

  • “Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar. Keep intake to levels that will support exercise but not body fat. Practice and train major lifts: Deadlift, clean, squat, presses, c&j, and snatch. Similarly, master the basics of gymnastics: pull-ups, dips, rope climb, push-ups, sit-ups, presses to handstand, pirouettes, flips, splits, and holds. Bike, run, swim, row, etc, hard and fast. Five or six days per week mix these elements in as many combinations and patterns as creativity will allow. Routine is the enemy. Keep workouts short and intense. Regularly learn and play new sports. ”

Hi Liz and KiwiAussieMike we haven't met before but I like the way you both think. I think if there are other crossfitters who enjoy another sporting discipline we could get together as a group and have a little play time. I myself like mountain biking someone else maybe a rock climber, soccer, basketball etc, its all about learning new sports and meeting like minded people who have crossfit in common.

Unfortunately I work almost every Saturday till the end of November though I'm available every Friday we could get together then and nut something out, look forward to meeting you.

And as for Fridays WOD missed the last 200m run before C/O, my hat goes off to the 12pm group, WOD's in the midday heat are not much fun!!

Hello everyone!! I just want to say I am loving being a part of the CrossFit Brisbane team and I have never worked harder when it comes to fitness in my life!!! I won't be back in the box until October 12th as I will be in America, but as I said in a previous post, I will be working out at a few of the boxes over there and will keep you updated on my progress. Watch out coz I'm gonna come back fitter and stronger than when I left!! And my squats should be better too :) haha
