You just have to keep watching it over and over again the amazing speed and power and virtuosity of it so quickly from resting position to set up and then BAM explosive speed the resultant big lift. awesome!

Snatches for tomorrow,
Outstanding! I am looking forward to this.
Today a friend and myself went at the Wednesday WOD.
my final single today was 84kg then 12/25/55
His final single was 65kg the 12/20/40
We both went about 4.5kg heavier than 25% for the last max effort. Awesome mental check.
Cheers
Cody

Today I learnt that my snatch is better than I thought it was. I just need to stop beating myself up over little things. Thanks for you help Danny! I need to make sure I approach the bar with no doubt in my mind and be agressive - I can always just imagine it's an ex :) THAT would give me more grrrrrr :)

This is an amazing skill. I feel like I really need to do it another thousand times with light weight to work it out. Hmm...I think I said that the last time we did snatches, and I haven't practised a single one since then...I guess I hoped my brain had amazingly worked it out by itself during the break from them...
Jenna S, is that POLE Jenna S? Welcome to Crossfit, prepare to become even more incredible than you are! XX

Amazing session today have to say I loved learing the technique. Thanks Danny, Chris and Matt again awsome coaching and helping with everything as my mind goes blank and wonders why you guys make it look so easy.
Danny always amazed at how you can pin point problems in technique and make a lift feel oh so much better and easier. Mate I know we should tell you more but you do an amazing job with the 12 class, I know I have toral confidence in the fact if you tell me to do something its for my own benefit.
Cheers

Matt G,
Teaching the group movements like the snatch, that are not available in those horrible places that most people call gyms, is one of the most rewarding things about being a CrossFit Trainer. I agree with you, Danny is awesome and does an amazing job!

I've got to correct my weight...I only hit 25 not 35 (not sure where the 35 came from), and even that was not too flash. Great intro to the snatch from Matt! Ben W

Matt G, I agree with you 100%, working with a barbell is so rewarding when you get it right, so much more technical and fluid than working out on any machine. It is something that is taught in so few places that I hope it is not in danger of becoming a dying art.
Beats running any day!

Awesome work today guys on what is surely one of our most technical movements. Keep working the skill in your warmup.

Sorry I had to dash. Thanks for your help Danny. I DO appreciate it. Wish my knee would just sort itself out and stay in the right position and then it would be one less thing to think of and worry about.
