Man, where did that year go? It is Christmas already!!
Please note that CrossFit Brisbane will be closed during the period between Christmas and New Year. Our last sessions for the year will be on Tuesday 22/12/2009 and our first sessions back will be on Monday 4/1/2010.
The gym will be unattended from 23/12/2009 to 3/1/2010. During the break we will continue to post workouts on the website. The workouts will be "holiday friendly" with minimal equipment requirements.
We take this opportunity to thank everyone for being a part of the CrossFit Brisbane story this year, and we wish you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Remember your goals during this silly season and make good choices over the break. Let's build on success in 2009 and look forward to what is going to be a fantastic year in 2010.

whilst I will miss the training environment of the box, my xmas routine shall consist of a dawn surf 1-2hrs followed by WOD, breakfast, fun time with the kids and relaxing/recovering!! There will definitely be a granny nap in the afternoon and maybe some beer &/or wine with dinner!!

that is a great idea Clay - Love those 800s. Although Whiteys surfing plan sounds good too. Maybe should try the 800s on sand?

I am already having withdrawal symtoms thnking about my daily routine been thrown to the wolves over xmas as you close down.
Im thinking maybe a crossfit Danny and Matt doll that smashes my flexibility, elbow ( yes they need to be higher ), back position ( no roll and collapse at the bottom is good ).
I can hear them barking the orders now.

About time the oldies (50+) were regognised as part of the cross fit community and there will be a MASTERS comp in 2010 too!

I will be training all through Christmas and up to New Year. Anyone keen for some good hill walking (pack is optional for you), is most welcome to join me, even on Christmas Day.
Argentina is 3 weeks away. Bring it on!
