Shiela got her first pull up today!!!

Big day, she was super excited!!

Shiela

Ummmmm.... I got my first pullup this morning during warm up!!! With 4 days to spare to my set deadline :) next up: 5 in a row by end of Jan :)

ps. This morning was a killer!! I'm going to miss the box and will definitely be coming in if it opens up sometime during that period

Gerard N

I am thinking that maybe a pullup bar in the back yard could be a good holiday project.

Shiela

Now where do I get one of those?! :)

Dom you are so funny! You beat me to the posting of my success!! Thanks for joining in on my excitement :) Pretty big deal for me as I was getting worried I wasn't going to meet my personal deadline.

G'Day All,

I have been away with work but I have marched out of my unit and now I don't start Uni until 01 March 2010! Bring on being a Uni Bum, growing a beard and attending anti-war rallies!

I will not be able to make it in tomorrow so I hope everyone has a safe and wonderful Christmas.

Take Care,

Fletcher

Fitness in 100 words

  • “Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar. Keep intake to levels that will support exercise but not body fat. Practice and train major lifts: Deadlift, clean, squat, presses, c&j, and snatch. Similarly, master the basics of gymnastics: pull-ups, dips, rope climb, push-ups, sit-ups, presses to handstand, pirouettes, flips, splits, and holds. Bike, run, swim, row, etc, hard and fast. Five or six days per week mix these elements in as many combinations and patterns as creativity will allow. Routine is the enemy. Keep workouts short and intense. Regularly learn and play new sports. ”
