Run 800m
70kg Power cleans, 21 reps
This will not be a coached session, but rather an "open gym". If you are a CrossFit Brisbane member and are competent in power cleans, you are welcome to come in join me for the workout.

I know it's a slow time, but I never did rxd burpees before - it was hard and I am so puffed!! What a mean workout to end 2009!

Did a great session with my son today.
Clean: 80% 2rx3s, 85% 1rx3s, 90% 1rx3s
Back Squat: 80% 3rx4s
Press: 80%2rx3s, 85%2rx3s, 90%1rx3s
Clean Pull: 4rx3s
He learned DL's instead of the clean, and did the rest of the wod modified to work on form.
I did the WOD as rx'ed and love the programming for working on the lifts.
I used 155, 175 and 195 for the cleans(full squat)
the back squat I used 225 for it to work the form(one of my weaker lifts)
The overhead press was 135, 155 and 175
then I used 195 for the clean pulls.

I'll be down the Gold Coast probably getting stuck into my first mojito when you're all doing this so I'll think of you. It sounds really wierd but I'd much prefer to be doing the WOD with you all instead.
Anway, I've got to pack and if I get a spare 20mins I'll fit in some burpees.
Have a fantastic new year everyone at CFB. I started this in January thinking it would get me fit enough to get into the fire department, but now I know this is what I'm going to keep doing to get me fit for life.

I have done a coulpe of wod for a couple of days.
1. "Nicole"
76 reps (6rnds) + 400m ( I felt it was hard )
2. Bench Press 1-10-1-20-1-30 reps.
100/90-120/80-140/65(14reps,failed)
3. 20rnds for time:
100m ( on a treadmill, high speed between 18km and 20km/hr)
5 burpees ( that made up of 100reps burpees)
18:55 rxd.

Hi Everyone at CFB!
Hope everyone had a great Christmas and has a good new years plan. Perth is going really well and I am training at Southern CrossFit. Incidentally we did 150 Burpees for time at SXF too, I just scraped in at 10:00 even. Was a horrible WOD.
Thanks to all the coaches that have helped to train me this year, I really appreciate it.
