Getting Started

  • Starting is really easy ... you do not need to be fit or know anything about CrossFit.

Step 1 is to click on "Want to Start", or give us a call or drop us an email to let us know that you are interested,

Step 2 is once you have registered we will call you and discuss a time to book you in for your first Intro session.

Step 3 is to complete your intro sessions and then join the group sessions when you are ready.

Fitness in 100 words

  • “Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar. Keep intake to levels that will support exercise but not body fat. Practice and train major lifts: Deadlift, clean, squat, presses, c&j, and snatch. Similarly, master the basics of gymnastics: pull-ups, dips, rope climb, push-ups, sit-ups, presses to handstand, pirouettes, flips, splits, and holds. Bike, run, swim, row, etc, hard and fast. Five or six days per week mix these elements in as many combinations and patterns as creativity will allow. Routine is the enemy. Keep workouts short and intense. Regularly learn and play new sports. ”

Baby John

I was having a look at Oneworld’s blog and it had a link to an article posted on the Crossfit Invictus site about hand tears and taping. Might be worth a look?

Well done Fletch and Tom!! Would have been great to stay back and watch you guys knock off the 30 muscleups!! I reckon I'm close to getting my first one...I can feel it in my waters...haha!! I really enjoyed this morning with the progression exercises too...see y'all at 5am tomorrow.

Fletcher

The person who needs special recognition at the moment, is Glen.

Doing a 5km OA row is a great effort, but still getting up every morning and coming in for WODs even with a busted shoulder takes commitment.

When you have an injury, it would be easy to find excuses but Glen comes in everyday and does about a million squats / lunges / box jumps, and then backs it up with OA rows! It is too bad, because I wanted to see a one armed muscle-up today!

Keep up the great work Gleno and we will see you tomorrow!

Have a great day,

Fletcher
