Getting Started

  • Starting is really easy ... you do not need to be fit or know anything about CrossFit.

    Step 1 is to click on "Want to Start", or give us a call or drop us an email to let us know that you are interested,

    Step 2 is once you have registered we will call you and discuss a time to book you in for your first Intro session.

    Step 3 is to complete your intro sessions and then join the group sessions when you are ready.

    If you are new to CrossFit, we will take it easy at the beginning and hold back the intensity until you get used to the training. Our experienced coaches will adapt the program to your individual circumstance, taking into account any injuries and your current level of conditioning.

    All you need is a positive attitude. There are no excuses, get started today!

Fitness in 100 words

  • “Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar. Keep intake to levels that will support exercise but not body fat. Practice and train major lifts: Deadlift, clean, squat, presses, c&j, and snatch. Similarly, master the basics of gymnastics: pull-ups, dips, rope climb, push-ups, sit-ups, presses to handstand, pirouettes, flips, splits, and holds. Bike, run, swim, row, etc, hard and fast. Five or six days per week mix these elements in as many combinations and patterns as creativity will allow. Routine is the enemy. Keep workouts short and intense. Regularly learn and play new sports. ”

Oh dear, didn't realise you were serious about Fran Matt. Had planned on a rest day tomorrow (just got home from seeing The Prodigy and then going out...) but still don't have an rxd Fran time so will have to scrape myself out of bed in < 4 hours and hope that I can still manage some pullups..."15, 12, 9, how hard can it be"

everyone has their own special and loving relationship with Fran.... huge thanks to Tom for the encouragement this morning.. 2 minute improvement since december so am happy with that... however still want to join the sub-10 minute crowd. well done to so many great times and PB's. Tara and Brad both put in spectacular efforts... what a super group... have a great weekend all

Wow, well done to all the Fran PB's this morning....some amazingly fast times!!

This was my first ever attempt at Fran since joining CFB (I've either had to do a modified WOD at the time or I've been away with work on the day it's been scheduled) and I'm sort of happy. I initially aimed for a sub 10 minute finish but after supporting my WOD partner RTF and seeing him do it in 8m 16s, it got me pumped to try and better it or at least match it!!! I fell short by 31 seconds but I now have a benchmark time to improve on and hopefully smash it next time around!!! :)

Nice work today CFB. Bill S I'm in the same boat as you as this was my first rxd Fran due to injury. I was hoping to do sub 9 mins but ended up doing sub 7! Thanks to Alexi for not letting me stop (when I really wanted to). Also thanks to all the coaches. I wouldn't have ever guessed that after 5 months at CFB I'd be doing 6:58 for Fran and live to tell the tale!
