Ross Barclay
Owner, CrossFit Brisbane
Ross is the Owner and a Coach at CrossFit Brisbane, driven by a passion for community and sustainable performance. A CF-L1 trainer with an MBA in Strategy and Leadership, he is also currently completing a Masters in Business Psychology.
Ross applies this unique background to the gym floor, focusing on the mindset and habits required for long-term health. With a decade of experience in Customer Strategy, he is dedicated to ensuring every member receives a world-class experiences that supports their journey.

Alana Biggam
Head Coach, CrossFit Brisbane
Alana is the Head Coach at CrossFit Brisbane, known for her experience, leadership, and technical expertise. A CF-L2 Trainer with a Health Science degree, she also holds certifications in Mobility, Scaling, and Weightlifting.
She leads the Vitality Program, supporting older adults and adaptive athletes. A former pro volleyballer and CrossFit Regionals competitor, Alana brings sharp, caring, and high-standard coaching to every session.

Ben frazer
Senior Coach, CrossFit Brisbane
In 2006 I stumbled upon CrossFit, being a personal trainer at the time I liked seeing something new, exciting and different in the fitness space.
Over the next 20 years (10 of which as a CrossFit Affiliate owner) CrossFit has taken me around the world, training on 4 different continents, being able to watch 2 CrossFit games, and to grow my knowledge as a coach through various certs (weightlifting, powerlifting, mobility, kids and gymnastics).
As a coach I like helping people achieve and to celebrate milestones along the way, which could be as simple as someone’s first double under or as complex as competing in Fitness Competitions.

David courbon
Senior Coach, CrossFit Brisbane
David is a CF-L2 trainer driven by a passion for performance, personal growth, and building strong communities. As the former owner of a CrossFit affiliate in France, David has over a decade of hands-on experience helping members of all levels unlock their potential.
His coaching style combines technical precision, accountability, and a strong focus on mindset, empowering athletes to build resilience, move better, and perform at their best both inside and outside the gym. With an MBA in International Business, he brings a unique blend of high-level coaching expertise and real-world entrepreneurial experience to the gym floor.
Fluent in French, English, and German, David thrives in diverse environments and is committed to creating an inclusive, high-performance community where every member feels supported in their journey.
